how i heart flowers
it's such a great treat to have fresh flowers around my flat. i truly enjoy sprusing-up the place with them. there's just something about the ambiance that makes me smile. the color, the lifeness, the vibe; it's sincere.you can find some great deals around town too to do this. a very cost-effective decoration tactic that will make you happy and lacey daily.
here is a recent find of mine. some very vibrant mums. found them @ the local target for $4.99 believe it or not -- just another example of how you can truly find anything you need @ tar-jay.

another terrific place i enjoy getting my fresh flowers from is whole foods.
now, onward to water the ruffles & lace mums.

not a lacey finish
i did it! i actually did it. i ran (well @ the end shuffled) a 1/2 marathon ... 13.1 miles to be exact.
wow! that's all i can say about that. wow! what a great accomplishment & now i think i might be addicted. i'm totally ready for next year's race; however, that's a whole year away, so in the meantime i am finding many races to run in. possibly the omaha 1/2 marathon, but we'll see.
so if you ever think for one minute you can't do something &/or you're not a runner. you are! believe me as i was honestly never a long-distance runner. just a sprinter. i could run the bases in softball in no time flat (in my younger years of course), but catching me running longer than a mile was obsolete, so on that note. anybody can run 13.1 miles if i can. i promise.

i remember looking back after i crossed the finish line on the 50-yard line of Go Big Red stadium & this is what i saw. a HUGE stadium with a beautiful blue sky. what a so-real image.
these great nike tenny runners helped me succeed a very amazing accomplishment.
30 & flirty never felt so good!
maybe next year i'll break out some ruffles & lace to accompany the tennies.
